Individual intensity rating systems vary and so they have been rescaled from 1 to 10 for comparability (ratings above 10 are given coffee outside the manufacturer's usual range). Pod prices have been divided into three groups; 15 pence or less, budget (B); 16 to 29 pence, midrange (M); 30 pence or higher premium (P).
